Category: Real Recovery

Real Recovery is a category that deals with all its aspects. I believe that for everyone in recovery there are almost that many varieties of recovery programs. They can be as unique as the people themselves. This category will also include stories of how people have faced, fought, and won their battle of addiction.

This category will deal with God, spirituality, AA, 12 step work, relapse. Also early sobriety, programs of recovery, different methods of treatment, and dealing with family.  It will deal with the way of thinking that plaques us in addiction versus the way of thinking that brings lasting sobriety. I will share my personal story and my beliefs on what led me to addiction. I will share my triumphs, my struggles, my victories.

I believe we all are in recovery from something. I pray that those posts in this category will spread light where there is darkness. Through our experience, strength, and hope we can recover. Life is fantastic and the promises do come true.
